- 2 lb chicken wings
- 4 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dry thyme
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel and place them in a large bowl.
- Add the baking powder, paprika, thyme, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and toss until evenly coated.
- Spray the Sizzle Tray with cooking spray, arrange the wings in a single layer on it, and close. Working in batches if needed.
- Cook at 380°F for 17-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the temperature near the bone reads at least 165°F. Repeat with remaining chicken.
- Transfer all cooked wings to a large bowl; add 2/3 cups of BBQ sauce and toss to coat.
- Place chicken back on the Sizzle Tray in the air fryer basket and close it. Cook at 350°F for 5 minutes.
- Move chicken back into the previous bowl and coat with remaining BBQ sauce to serve.
